Benefits of reading:

I know, a lot of people don’t like reading, they think is stupid or not worth it. I would say a large percentage of the world population is missing out on the significant benefit of reading.
Reading can actually improve your life in very many ways. It can lead to better well being in mental health, boost in confidence, and even personal growth. The benefits of reading will continue in your life through school work, your career, and social life.
A lot of people thinking reading is for nerds, it’s not!!
I would like you to reconsider honestly.
Reading expands your vocabulary. When you read, you learn more words. You will be consistently learning new words. You will end up learning their meanings and seeing the context which they’re used will increase your mental dictionary. You will then use these words in conversation with people or even in your writing. You will improve your ability of communicate, having better thoughts and you can express how you feel better.
Read improves your memory, it creates new memories. As you read you are memorizing and recalling the words, the ideas, names, relationships, and plots in the book. Your training your brain to retain new information.
Reading increases knowledge, it Is one of the primary ways to acquire knowledge. When you have a strong knowledge base, it makes it very easy to learn new things and solve new problems. If you fill your mind with new facts, information, and new ideas will make you a better at conversation.
Reading strengths focus and concentration. A lot of people lose focus or concentration and find themselves distracted. When you read you need to have 100% focus and your attention on the page. A consistent reading habit will strengthen your attention span which help you out later in life.
Better start READING

5 things I tell myself when I don’t want to do homework/study:

Do you ever get yourself all ready to do homework or study for test and you sit down and start and then a few minutes later you lose interest?, well I find that happens to me a lot not mostly because I don’t want to, it is mostly because I find it to easy to do which makes it boring. If I. Don’t understand it and I’m having troubles then I start t0 give up on myself.
So here are 5 things I tell myself:
1. If you give up now, you will just end having to do it later
2.It’s not supposed to be easy
3.Even 10 minutes of studying will help you
4. Every mistake increases your chance of progress
5.Believe in yourself, don’t doubt yourself
Number 5 is one I tell myself every day because I doubt myself when I do homework or I’m studying. I put myself in this zone where I say I’m going to fail or I don’t understand this homework. I actually have to sit and look at the homework or my study note and then I realize I do actually understand what is happening.
I love to go by this quote
Focus
Work hard
Be creative
Open your mind
Spread positivity
Stay away from drama
Enjoy the little things
Put in 100% effort
Take chances
Smile more

5 fashion trend I think we should stop wearing in 2019:

Fashion is a big thing in today’s society and honestly some of the clothing or accessories people have designed, made and sell are extremely weird and we should just stop eating in my own opinion. In 2018 plenty of unexpected and divisive trends emerged. Here are 5 fashion trends I think we should stop wearing in 2019:
1. You know though teeny tiny sunglasses, through are ridiculous. The most prevalent accessory trend of the year was teeny, tiny sunglasses. the sunnies have embraced the world over this summer as we all ditched our classic styles in favour of tiny specs. They hardly they even covered your eyes from the sun, and warnings about their safety, (they don’t block out the sun after all. I honestly am hoping that this fashion moves away from this trend into something altogether more sensible
2. Though plastic transparent fashion, they make them in shoes, like high heels and knee-high boots. First of all, no one would want to see your sweaty feet. Second, you better have nice looking feet because everyone will be looking at your feet, wondering why the hell you are wearing that. I felt that the plastic fashion went into overdrive. I also feel like there was a war against plastic raging harder than ever and the frankly impractical nature of walking around all day in plastic boots or carrying your belongings in a completely transparent bag. Time to let this trend go honestly.
3. Dad trainers, oh my, let me tell you, I laugh at these honestly. I was surprised at the unexpectedly comfortable footwear trend. The style – which was all over the catwalks and the street stylers – was always going to be a divisive trend that is hard to pull off, but after months of attempting to make them look stylish, but I feel this is truly a trend only for celebrities, because if someone sees a celebrity wearing it, it is instantly amazing.
4. These one annoy me the most biker shorts, I understand if you are working out or biking, that makes sense when wearing biker shorts. Though when people are wearing biker shorts as normal clothing shorts, hell no, I’m sorry but it annoys me soooo much. Like please leave it for the gym!!
5.Lastly and finally I think we got to get rid of the bright colour neon, it’s time to retire the trend for good. A bunch of celebrities started wearing neon colours and honestly, I think it hard for people to pull off neon colours unless red-carpet events, fashion shows and maybe the gym but that’s it. IN my opinion, I hope designers will hopefully leave the colour palette where it belongs: in the ‘80s and early ‘90s.

What it is like being an introvert:

An introvert is a person who I would say prefers calm, refreshing environment. They tend to feel drained after socializing and regain their energy by spending time alone. An introverts brain is somewhat different than extrovert brain.
“Quiet people have the loudest minds.” Stephen Hawking
Being an introvert is perfectly fine, being an introvert doesn’t mean there is something wrong with you. We are shaped by our life experiences. If your quiet, you were probably encouraged by your parents, teachers, and others, you probably grew up feeling confident in who you are. Some introverts having developed social anxiety or feeling like you had to pretend to be someone you’re not. All introverts are different. Some have to coupe differently than others. All Introverts get “introvert hungover”, which means mean feeling fatigued, unable to concentrate, or even grouchy. It’s as if your brain has used up all its mental energy.
Some characteristics of a introvert are:
We’d rather stay home most nights than go out to one social event after another.
We enjoy quiet, solitary activities like reading, writing, gaming, gardening, or drawing.
We’ll usually choose the company of a few close friends over a wild party.
We do our best work alone.
Many of us will avoid small talk or other unnecessary social interactions.

Thunderstorms:

I got to say I love and hate thunderstorms at the same time. I love rain in general and lightning but the under part sometimes freaks me out because the bangs can be pretty loud. I also find thunderstorms soothing….weird right but I find it calms me down. I love watching the lightening and rain and the noise of the rain. I would say it is almost like a stress reliever. I always loved the saying

”Life isn’t how you survive the thunderstorm, but how you dance in the rain.”
~Vivian Greene

Honestly this saying or quote is amazing because it is about living our lives, not simply waiting around for a good time to start. Too many people wait for the right moment before starting to live their life. To me, it is we wasted too much time. I know I got off topic but I had to put it in there.  The day after a thunderstorm I find the air is more fresh and relaxing and it feels like all the chemicals in the air got washed away. Most people view thunderstorms as a scary storm that creates problems (power lines falling, trees getting struck by lightning, basements flooding), but I love to view them in a more positive light. When it thunderstorms I find I get way better sleep like it relaxes me and takes me worries away. When I hear or see a storm is coming I always get a book or my laptop to start writing because I find it is the best time my ideas come, or curling up and reading an amazing book. I live seeing the lightening lighten up the sky. You never know when or where lightning will strike next is so exciting. Lightning bolts come in such a variety of different forms and lengths. I would say lightning bolts are almost like snowflakes; no two are alike. I’m the kinda girl to go dance in the rain and honestly if you never danced in the rain you are missing out on a different kind of freedom that everyone should feel. Yes it the silliest thing to do and care free feeling comes over me and when it does it is so relieving. At that point I don’t care if I catch a cold, I’m happy and feel So next time it rains, just go outside and dance.

Being a Tomboy:

I would 100% say I’m a Tomboy. I’m not like your average girl, who dresses up, goes get their nail and hair done, who is afraid to get muddy, put makeup. Hell no I’m 100% opposite. I will make sure I never get my nails done because that stuff is over expensive and stupid, sorry to all the girls out there, but that is not who I am. I am the tomboy who wants to go atving in fields in the rain and get 100% drench in mud and water. I’m gonna be the girl in a black pickup truck who through mud and having fun. I’m the girl in the construction or woodworking class because I find that stuff so interesting and cool. I am the girl who isn’t afraid to live my life, jump off a cliff into water, YOLO. I am the girl who likes being the shop working on an old car, fixing it up and then having fun with it. Wearing a dress is like a very special occasion for me if I can get away with jeans and a hoodie I would do it 100%. Normal girls are a good temper and have a good mouth well no me I have the worst temper and the worst bad mouth ever!! I will talk back no matter what if you piss me off and I won’t stop until I get what I want. Yea I know that sounds back and all but it is just who I am. I don’t let people say to me I need to dress up and wear makeup, heck no. I am me, I chose what I want to wear, how I want to act, and how I want to live my best life and that is being a Tomboy. I have a lot more male friends than girl- friends but honestly having male friends teaches you how to stick up for yourself and learn how to be tough and not get hurt by something someone said to you. I would say You’re kind of misunderstood. Girly girls think you’re strange, some boy thinks I’m a try-hard, Not true!!. But my friends and family accept who I am and that is what matters most to me.
Don’t be afraid to show who you really are!

You don’t need makeup to be pretty:

All girls today, and even some guys today in the world think they have to wear makeup, have the best looks, or the perfect face. No one will have the perfect face unless you have amazing genes. I hardly wear makeup not even to go on a date maybe mascara but that is it. I will only wear makeup if I have a skating competition because I have to think people need to see what my face looks like without makeup and honestly someone shouldn’t want to be friends or want to date me for my looks it way more than that. I have read online that it is way healthier to have a natural face without having any makeup because it can get into your pores and make it dirtier causing acne. I know you see a lot of flaws on your face but if you always wear makeup you will never get over those flaws and see that you are sooo beautiful. If you believe you are pretty or beautiful, you will have more confidence in yourself, don’t think you have to wear makeup to fit in, YOU DON’T!!! It is your life, you control it, you make the decisions. If someone comes up to you and say you would look prettier with makeup, ignore them and reflect on yourself and ask yourself, are you going to change your whole appearance because one person commented that you would look prettier, if you feel confident and pretty without makeup keep it that way. If you don’t wear makeup that doesn’t make you weird I promise you that, everyone is different.
YOUR BEAUTIFUL

How homework can help you in school:

I know no one likes homework, but if you do, good for you. No one wants to come home and do homework after sitting in classes for 8 hours a day. Most people would complain to teachers about having homework. Homework actually can help you and it also shows teachers how your moving along in the class. Homework shows you if you are understanding what is happening in the class. Homework also gives parents a chance to see what kids are learning in class. Homework helps develop key skills that you need in life, such as as accountability, discipline, time management, self-direction, and independent problem-solving. Homework improves student achievement in terms of improved grades, test results, and the likelihood to attend college. If you need help with homework you can go the next day and ask for them to understand it. It also shows the teacher how many people are having trouble in that unit, and it also tells the teacher how long she needs to stay on that unit.

Living on the Paleo Diet:

I started doing the paleo diet just recently (Like a 2 weeks ago), I didn’t do it to lose weight, I did the paleo diet because of my migraines and I was hospitalized because of my migraines, so my doctor suggested I do the paleo diet.  A little information what the paleo diet is.
The paleo diet is a plan based on food similar to what a caveman would have ate. It is includes food like lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. So basically food that could be obtained by hunting or gathering. You are not aloud to eat/drink anything dairy, legumes and grain products.
My migraines is food sensitivity to dairy, gluten, and some vegetables. The paleo diet was perfect for me because your not aloud to eat/drink any dairy, or gluten. Let me tell you it was difficult at first because I was use to eating sandwich for lunch and having cereal with milk in the morning. I was always craving my regular breakfast, lunch, dinner foods. I had to change my meal plan completely and buy new foods. I got to try to make new meals and new foods, I would love some and hate some.  I would have my cheats days, but my cheat days would only me be eating something with bread because milk really effects me and gives me migraine very quickly. So I would have a sandwich with meat and lettuce. I hated waiting for cheat days because they were only once or twice and month.
Some things I hate doing about the paleo diet is the meal planning, I hated having to wake up in the morning to make breakfast, pack a lunch. I would just usually buy something from my school Hub, but they didn’t really have anything I could eat that was paleo. There would be days I would get very upset because I would be at a friends and I would have to bring my own food or go home. I would see people eating hamburgers ad pasta and I couldn’t eat it. I found sometimes not wanting to eat because nothing in the paleo sounded good, so I would end up eating strawberries or something.
The paleo diet is not eating, I know I just started but I could tell you it is not easy as it looks, but when you start, you have to stay motivated.  I mostly do it for myself, for I don’t get migraines because my migraines really suck to live with, so sometimes you have to change your life to make it better.

Why my favourite season is summer:

I would have to say summer is definitely my favourite season. Hair gets lighter, skin gets darker. Summer is the warm weather, no school, and endless fun. In the warm weather it is perfect for outside activities, like horse back riding, swimming, and lots more. In the summer your free to do whatever you want , going to bed late, waking up late, unless your like me and can never sleep in. You get to spent it with all your family and friends at the beach, having dinner together. I love can wear lighter clothes. I love going to festivals and cool actives in the summer. I find myself never getting bored. You have the amazing fun parties on July 1st and August labour day. Summer evening have concerts, movies, relaxing. During the day, going on hikes, bike rides, atv rides, jet skiing, tubing and 100% going cliff jumping. Yes that is dangerous cliff jumping into water and not knowing what below you but YOLO. My most favourite summer night evening would be sitting in-front of a camp fire with all my friends, eating smores and just talking and laughing. Even on a rainy day in the summer you can curl up and read a good book. I know I just said reading, ewww but I love reading or writing and on a rainy day I think it is the best day to read or write. Don’t get me started on the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, just watching them makes my day complete, it great time to get photos and its relaxing. I love them.
